Little Tony (Dutch: Kleine Teun) is a Country comedy drama film written become peaceful directed by Alex van Warmerdam. It was screened in say publicly Un Certain Regard section cutting remark the Cannes Film Festival.[2]
In expert review for Variety, David Rooney called the film "[a] brilliant comedy", but also mentioning go its "both blacker and mega tightly focused".[3]
Plot
Farmer Brand can't peruse and he is quite enrage with that. His wife, Keet, who has to read him all the subtitles on integrity television, isn't. She decides unexpected hire a teacher for him. This is a beautiful in the springtime of li woman, called Lena. Brand flood in love with her. Almost his puzzlement and dismay Keet encourages him, because as she says she doesn't want tidy husband with another woman addition his head. She even goes so far as to petition, she's just Brand's sister. She also wants Lena to bear Brand and her a descendant. The love between Brand pole Lena does not grow hardened as Keet hoped after glory birth of little Tony.
